Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine students’ perception on the use of flipped classroommodel in higher education. The study was carried out with 290 first-year students of the DegreeCourse in Primary Education, during the laboratory course of Educational Technologies for Primaryand Pre-Primary Education. Through this study, it was aimed to observe the improvementof digital competence in future teachers while fostering the collaborative approach and the abilityto stimulate their cognitive, emotional and creative assets. Before proceeding with the workshopactivities, a training activity on flipped classroom model was launched. At the final phase of thestudy, a focus group session was set in order to verify the ability of collaboration between studentsthrough the provided instruments. During the focus group session, students were observed throughan observation guide of social and work behavior.
