The articles in this volume echoing each other in a game of resonances that cross every border between disciplines to dig into the humanity roots.The text has two parts ideally connected from a common perspective on children and their way of knowing and entering into a relationship with the world through the eyes of science and the arts. The holistic approach, curiosity and imagination, exploratory freedom and the pleasure of creating connections between things on different levels totally involves individual subjects and groups, minds and bodies according to the idea that it’s impossible to mark a clear demarcation between science and art, especially for children.At the same time, choosing, as adults, to look at reality in a multi-perspective way, can help to capture, with moving eyes, precious and illuminating details of phenomena, processes and objects in a frame in which emotions and desire find space. This involves, especially for early childhood, the development of educational strategies suitable for promoting learning and the development of different skills and ways of processing thought, capable of adapting to fluid and polyphonic realities with more tools and greater sensitivities, keeping in parallel the wonder and the ability to improvise, but also to imagine new worlds.
