Una sola moltitudine

Risultato della ricerca: Chapter

Only one multitude, so a collection of writings by the Portuguese Fernando Pessoa was entitled, using a definition that is an oxymoron and well suited to a complex project such as One of a type. Through the construction of an alphabet, and therefore with the uniqueness of a family of glyphs and the multiplicity of their forms, the visual identity of the city of Palermo is designed, contemporary and deeply ancient, eager for the future and stratified over time. A single sign to communicate the identity of the city and territory to which it refers is no longer sufficient. However, perhaps a complex system such as that defined by an alphabet may be, which lends itself to be used, fragmented, composed and re-aggregated always in a different way based on a city that requires not one, but a multitude of signs to trace its identity and compose your own language.
