Un esperimento d’illuminazione per il Tempio di Hera a Selinunte / An experiment of lighting of Temple of Hera in Selinunte

This contribution to theme on Permanence and innovation in Mediterranean Architecture, investigates about possibilities given, especially, by innovative lighting system for Cultural Heritage. The Mediterraneity can be revealed by different levels of interpretation always present in the continuous matter about tradition and innovation. The case study of Temple of Hera, in Selinunte Archaeological Park, is a borderline case of experimental use of lighting that emphasizes the complexity of the context and focuses on the lack of reliable intervention strategies that lead the development and realization of project.
