Abstract
The percentage of dyslexic students in Italy is lower thanin the United Kingdom. In this article, after a brief analysisconcerning the main dyslexia causes and symptoms, a differen -ce between Italian and English dyslexic will be made on a lin -guistic level. The linguistic aspects of English language will beanalysed because they seem to be the main cause of the majorprevalence of dyslexia in students speaking English.
