Tra rovine e ricostruzioni: L'architettura nel paesaggio siciliano del XXI Secolo

Unpredictable and inexorable earthquakes have caused tragic destruction in Sicily, but also offered opportunities for extraordinary beginnings. Continuity and memory are the terms in which to investigate the inerent values of ruins and the sense of reconstruction. The project, in the recognition of the traces and signs of the past, in the coherent modifi- cation of the physical present, establishes a new story of living.
