N2 - The territorial system of Platani has been studied, for the establishment of an eco-museum, in the undergraduate laboratory AmbienteNaturaArchitettura (Degree course in Building Engineering - Architecture, University of Palermo) producing about 20 thesis that led to as many projects, aimed at eco-sustainable valorization. The lab’s topics have resulted in conferences and good practices, including a journey (done on foot in four days by professors, experts and students), from the sources to the river mouth, which allowed us to catch continuously the landscape variations, to dwell in the emblematic points, to meet the community and administrators to engage and discuss with them about the valorization and the protection of the territory.
