Abstract
Foreigners in Italy experience specific inequalities in health and access to health care, that overlap the existing geographical disparities. This study aims to compare the effect of living conditions on self-perceived unmet medical need among foreigners living in Italy. In particular it tests several measures of living conditions and aims at assessing whether they affect differently the foreigners by nationality. Data used for the analysis are from the Italian special Survey of Income and Living Conditions carried on households with foreigners in 2009
