Risultato della ricerca: Chapter

Abstract

This essay aims to outline the influences exercised by Roberto Pane on Sicilian architectural and urban culture of the 1960s, conveyed through the contributions of the two undisputed protagonists of this culture Edoardo Caracciolo (30.11.1906-1962), prof. of Urban Planning and Guido Di Stefano (2.2.1906-8.9.1962), prof. of Art History, both died prematurely in 1962. Both certainly had opportunities to meet ours, one more specifically through the INU, the other through Italia Nostra. Explicit references to Roberto Pane can be found in the Rehabilitation Plan of the historic center of Palermo (1959) regarding the regulations limiting volumes and heights and in the contemporary PRG
