Pronunciare bene. Fonetica italiana e tedesca a confronto

How can you get a good pronunciation? This book, written for Italian learners and teachers of German as FL and German laerners and teachers of Italian as FL, furnishes the theoretical background of the pronunciation of both languages. The parallel description permits a comparison of the two different phonological systems. What do they have in common? What kind of errors are expectable from Italian learners who speak German and from German learners who speak Italian? What kinds of "tricks" may help them in avoiding these errors, thus in improving their pronunciation? After an introduction to some preliminary concepts, the book illustrates, in a contrastive approach, the articulation of single phones, the coarticulation of phones within a syllable and at its boundaries as well the prosodic features of sequences of syllables.
