N2 - This study, using both remotely sensed and measuredin situ data, is directed to the analysis of the correlationsbetween the chlorophyll-a concentration and the biomass ofsardines and anchovies acoustically evaluated in the Strait ofSicily. This work, inter alia, shows the usefulness of remoteobservation of seas in determining possible relationships betweenfish stocks and some oceanographic parameters (Sea SurfaceTemperature, Chlorophyll-a, Zooplankton).
