Abstract
To improve the effects of the connecting“augmented urbanism”, I have set up tenkeywords able to reset spatial planning forthe Augmented City in the face of the 21stcentury challenges. The Augmented City’s practices growwith exponential progression doublingits components, connections and impactsseen in the last years, to one incredible anddisruptive acceleration. We are surroundedby thousands of practices in the spreadof sensors and intelligent devices, incollaborative design and return of urbanmanufacturing, in explosion of creativityand increase of resilience, and severalexperiments in recycling of everything, fluidisation and networking of cities, andadoption of incremental and adaptivestrategies. Therefore, we need a theory,a new urban paradigm that is able tounderstand, connect and manage the newresponsible role of cities and communitiesin the Neoanthropocene.
