Abstract

UNESCO in International Charter for Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport of 2015 in art. 1.3 affirms as a fundamental right of children with disabilities, the opportunity to participate in physical education and quality, adapted, safe and inclusive sports activities. Primary school and kindergarten, in order to lead healthy lifestyles, should go beyond the physical activity organized in the gym and review the environments, times, spaces considering the diversity and specificity of the pupils. The paper shows the results of a study that involved 525 trainee teachers of the IV Specialization Course on educational support activities for the kindergarten and primary school of the University of Palermo in the A.Y. 2018-2019. The experimental research was carried out in the Methods and didactics of motor activities laboratory. Current legislation designs these activities laboratories for the training of future support teachers in order to acquire design skills and carry out educational actions in the field of physical education.
