Abstract
Starting from the analysis of a group of sketches of the Fabrique neuve de Cortaillod (18th-19thcentury), the author examines the process of interaction between fashion and industrial developmentin Europe in the second half of the 18th century, through an in-depth study of the processes of adaptation of oriental models to European taste and of the printing techniques adopted in Europe.
