N2 - The general outlines of «FOrP» (Training, Guidance, Planning) research-training project is presented in this paper, after clarifying the aim of the guidance presented in the Linee guida nazionali per l’orientamento permanente (MIUR, 2014) and briefly describing some educational methodologies used in Italy in the last twenty years to help the students to build their professional life project. This project aims to fill the gap between the disciplinary skills acquired by pupils at the end of the path of high school studies and those required at the beginning of university studies, as well as to promote in them three soft skills (self-efficacy, decision making capability and self-awareness) through the application of the expressive writing, ADVP (Activation du Developpement Vocationnel et Personnel) and tutoring interview.
