Abstract
Non-literary texts, dated by topical and chronological date, archival documents represent a precious source for the study of the linguistic evolution of medieval Greek. The documents produced in southern Italy between the eleventh and fourteenth centuries, published according to the scientific criteria of modern diplomatics, are added to the evidence of oriental origin, considerably enriching the database of data useful for the study of the language.
