Abstract
The essay focuses on the mechanism of the individual derogability of the legal framework on duties, as reformed by Legislative Decree 81/2015 (Jobs Act): the reform, that allows agreements between the employer and the employee aimed at changing tasks, salary, occupational category and job classification, clearly shows the trajectory of liberalisation of Italian employment law. The boundaries established by the law to such modifications – the subscription in front of a "protected location" and the presence of a specific purpose – give shape to a weak protection of the worker within the contract of employment.
