Abstract
Agrigento and Jerash are two archeological contexts both expressing the hard attempt to conciliate, in the physical present, modernity and memory, the urban expansion and the awareness of a landscape whose overall sense is not completely understood yet. The opportunity to read, verify and understand the present condition of a relation between archeology and project is part of a striking and current research topic: the construction of the landscape through the story of the place (rich of geographical and naturalistic values, history and changes) that only the architectural project can predispose.
