N2 - This paper presents the use of a Brain-based approach to thedevelopment of linguistic intelligence and the correlated linguistic-communicative skill, which allowed the experimentation of a sequence of Brain Gym activities (Dennison & Dennison,2008) at university during the Distance Learning period, imposed by the Covid-19 emergency. The use of distancelearning has caused the drastic limitation of some elementsconsidered fundamental for the development of linguistic, expressiveand communicative skills such as corporeality, visualacousticcontrol, attention spans, gestures, contact. In its initialstage, the research involved 166 students of the first yearof Primary Education Sciences of the University of Palermo,in the A.Y. 2020/2021. The results show an improvement inlinguistic and communicative-pragmatic skills.
