Educationalists may develop educational skills in parents when undertaking to understand their real needs refraining from using abstract models in complex situations. The phenomenological study of the most frequent educational behavior of fathers or mothers is a good starting point to set training interventions for parents who wish to establish a specific educational relationship either with sons or daughters. The educational role of those parents taking into account gender specificities differ according to the age of the children. The father and mother are the first male and female exemplar sons and daughters relate to. Human imperfections, experienced in their parents, do not prevent children from achieving their full potential as individuals once they perceive in the father and in the mother a sincere recognition of mistakes and a desire for improvement. Educational relationships in the family vary significantly in different cultures; so the family pedagogue, instead of providing preconceived recipes, first plunges into the daily life of the parents, asking for his advice, and then try and develop their analytical skill and the ability to actively face and solve educational problems. The social expectations towards the family pedagogue have increased because of the increased number of parenting couples in crisis; the pedagogical training of parents is part of the third university mission.
