Abstract
The essay analyzes the silver liturgical furnishings of the churches of Petralia Soprana built from the eighties of the eighteenth century to the first decades of the nineteenth century to update and expand the heritage of sacred art in the centre of Madonie. The reading of the trademarks and the discovery of unpublished archival documents have made it possible to refer the works to some masters of Palermo, such as Salvatore La Cecla and Salvatore Mercurio, and in some cases also to identify the clients.
