This paper presents the development of a research focusing the latest technologies for Augmented Reality as a support for the visit of museums and archaeological sites. The research project, started in 2016 with the study of the Google Tango solutions for AR, led to the development of a guide for the visit of the Parisian museum Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine. This study uses the new Google ARCore platform to create tools for the visualization on site of two virtually reconstructed houses in the FF1 city block in Selinunte.
