N2 - The task of education (in formal and non-formal contexts) must be redefined from a media-educational point of view and consequently analyzed in much broader, complex and systemic terms, also in Italy. It is not so much (or only) to educate with the media, nor to educate a lot (or only) to the safe and responsible uses of the Internet to fight from time to time that cyberbullying, fake news or hate speech. Rather, it is about educating the media as complex systems of signification / representation, industrial production and social control.
