The purpose of this study is to furtherly reflect on the conflict management issue in schools and it starts with a descriptive analysis of the self-evaluation reports of Palermo districts’ primary grade schools during the scholastic year 2017/18. The data was obtained through the MIUR portal “Scuola in Chiaro”. Particular consideration was given to the indicators belonging to the relational dimension (3.2.f ) of the “Learning environment” area, within the “Processes” section of the RAV. Moreover, specific attention was given to any other indicators elaborated by the school, the strengths and the weaknesses elaborated on the basis of some reflection questions formerly provided. Analyzing the data used to compile the RAV can be the starting point to undertake actions and strategies for improving conflict management.
