Abstract

The hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease mainly caused by Echinococcus granulosus. Oneof the most frequent complications of hepatic hydatid disease is rupture of cysts into thebile ducts, but only a few case reports to our knowledge described MRCP observations ofbiliary rupture. We expose the main MRI imaging findings of intrabiliary rupture of hepatichydatid cyst.
