Inquiry based Laboratory. Una ricerca con i futuri docenti di sostegno.

Teacher Training in laboratory is particularly relevant because it al-lows to activate learning processes in which pupils become protagonists of their progressions. The laboratory represents a methodology that characterizes teaching andtraining of future teachers. Through laboratory, students have the opportunity to confront each other, to implement critical, logical and creative skills to explore the surrounding reality. This is perfectly combined with the possibilities guarantee by an Inquiry-Based Learning scientific laboratory centered on the investigation process. The paper illustrates the research path carried out during IV cycle of Specialization Course for support activities in Palermo. It was expected that at the end of the experimental action, usingthe Inquiry based laboratory model, performance indicative of the development of the 27 skills identified in the 9 planned laboratories would significantly increase in the 543 pre-service support teachers. The results indicate the high quality of the system adopted.
