Among SS 113, viale dei Platani and the northern marginsof Partinico, there is a farm area (109 ha) crossed from eastto west by the railway line and strongly characterized by thepresence of the distillery Bertolino (about 7 ha), whichemerges from olive groves, citrus orchards, vineyards, andfields with extensive crops. The SS 113 and viale dei Platani,which are the main north entrances to the town, havefavored the development of activities related to trade and thewine industry in an area where the countryside, silos andwarehouses, the fruit and vegetable market and the railwaystation, coexist with the volumes of the urban suburb.Besides, a new beltway provided for by General Town Plan,will cross the area passing to the south of the distillery,parallel to the railway line, and will connect directly SS 113with SP 1 (Partinico-Montelepre). Among these roadsdefining or crossing the area, the agricultural space appearssubdivided in different residual areas.
