The trip can be fully regarded as a geographical experience. In fact, it represents on the one hand the action that connects men with spaces, on the other hand it allows to start a deep path of knowledge of the places visited, of the communities encountered and even of themselves. From a scientific point of view for several reasons the experience of the journey is fully considered structural to the method of geographical investigation. There is a very close link between geography and religion. It is a relationship that is expressed through the mutual influence between man, environment and territory, which, in most cases, never occurs in one direction.
