The itinerary of the Diocesan Museum of Monreale, located in the Archbishop's Palace and in close dialogue with the cathedral, is presented. From the San Placido hall, which houses many works from the disused or abandoned churches of the Archdiocese of Monreale, dominated, among other things, by the large tapestry depicting William's Dream, to the rooms on the following floors: the Norman hall, the Renaissance hall, the hall dedicated to the collector Salvatore Renda Pitti, who donated his important collection to the Diocese of Monreale, the large hall dedicated to the patronage of the bishops, including the figure of Ludovico II Torres. The visit is completed in the Roano chapel which collects all the works related to the commission of the great archbishop.
