Abstract
Within a broader reflection on the presence of history in declamatory literature, the paper deals with some of Seneca’s controversies in which the thema concerns undisputed protagonists ofancient art, observing the way in which declaimers converge within the fields of interest of the school fundamental reflections on issues related to art and the role of the artist.
