Abstract

An open adoption is a way of keeping in contact with the biological roots, maybe more suitable for children adopted in their early infancy than later. In fact, children in older adoption age, coming from a pre-adoptive adverse environment (abuse, neglect, violence, poverty, etc.), may invoke oblio right ,tore-create themselves in the new family.
