N2 - The research is part of the PRIN project entitled "Training success, inclusion and social cohesion: innovative strategies, ICT and evaluation models" that ended on 28th February 2016. In an economically depressed area, with a high rate of delinquency, a network must be established between the school, the family, the world of work and non-formal training agencies locally present in order to prevent the exit from the education and training system of adolescents between 14 and 18 years of age. In this sense, a professional institute, rooted in a specific socio-cultural context, can act as a link between the various subjects interested in preventing the phenomenon of young people who are neither trained nor work.
