The family reunification is not a happy ending after a long and painful separation, instead it is a new beginning that requires special attention to the reconstruction of the ties. According to a pedagogical reading, the long-distance relationship between parents and children, before the family reunification, involves the risk of educational injuries for children deprived for a long time of the intimate relationship with their parents. Often these aspects of risk aren’t understood by the social and educational services, they stop having relationships when family just when reunification happened. Then reunited families become a new interlocutor that expresses specific needs in schools, social and health services too, in the area. It needs to take the way of a educational effort and/or support to help these families to cross the reunification.
