Reflecting about educators professional specificities and about the interweaving of the personal dimension with the professional one in the educational professions, the essay deals with the need to adopt a new formative perspective, which considers the mind-body unity, the artistic dimension and the reflexivity in learning processes. It then explains the importance of learning by experience and underlines the role of the work group; finally deepens the specificities of Dance Movement therapy and the effectiveness of a laboratory path that uses its methodologies
