In the present study, we analyzed leaf
mineral contents fruit quality traits of orange, lemon and tangerine varieties grown in Sicily. The purpose
of this research was to individuate chemical or physical fruit quality parameters useful to establish the best
possible use of the crop, fresh market or processing. Moreover, leaf mineral analyses were conducted in order to characterize nutritional levels of citrus varieties grown in Sicily. In a second study, we evaluated fruit quality of orange trees cv Valencia in response to deficit irrigation.
