Classically distinct in a predeterminal and postductal form,at present this classification is not used much.Clinical manifestations of affected patients range from systolic hypertension of the originating vessels aupstream of the part coarctated to the hypotension dependent on those downstream and strictly depend on the degree of stenosis.
