N2 - The article analyzes precious coral works of art of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries from Trapani, in particular monstrances and bolsters, which today are found in Malta, in private and ecclesiastical collections, and in museums of the Island. These artifacts, some of them unpublished, are a further confirmation of the aulic patronage, the international destination and the widespread Mediterranean diffusion that the coralworked in Trapani had between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
