Abstract

The paper aims to highlight the contribution of the teaching of the architectural project in its social contents, starting from a path that saw me as a student and, subsequently, a researcher (PhD).The architectural project, between teaching and research, must be continuously crossed and influenced by current affairs that affect the contemporary city and which constitute the material on which to reflect.In my research experience, the confluence of different knowledge (anthropology, sociology, cinema, art, photography, etc) proved to be fundamental, aimed at the construction of a reference framework necessary to interpret the contemporary city.The intertwining of the different disciplinary fields was useful for the construction of the degree thesis (conclusion of the five years) which, surely, allowed me through the rearrangement of the materials (theoretical and graphic), on the one hand to elaborate the project and, at the same time, the possibility of building a personal survey on the themes of architecture, directing the gaze on the social migratory phenomenon.
