Abstract
The essay studies the silver and coral works commissioned by the Bona family for the churches of Bisacquino. The artifacts made in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries by Palermo’s silversmiths and the coral workers of Trapani further attest to the high level of skill displayed by Sicilian artists and the importance noble patronage for the furnishing and decoration of religious buildings
