The «Telemachus» research was carried out to promote an active and responsible participation of the university students in the university teaching. For this purpose, it was decided to prepare them for such participation through the application of two methods of intervention to improve their sense of self-efficacy, their capacity to control and manage the anxiety of the work, and the image of «oneself» in the present: expressive writing and peer-tutoring. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of these two methods on the three skills taken in the exam. Enhancing students’ written and oral voice induces a more democratic overview of university teaching, actives virtuous process of learning self-regulation, defuses inhibitions and promotes the protagonism during the course of the teaching activities.
