The essay examines the artistic research of Yumiko Kimura (Tokyo, 1961), an artist specializing in glass sculptures that combine geometric art and the search for light.The contribution was made on the occasion of the exhibition "Geometric Universes", which presented a selection of works by the Japanese artist in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and then at the FAM gallery with the patronage of the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas and the inclusion in the official celebrations of the 150th anniversary of relations between Japan and Italy.
