Abstract
The research involved a group of primary school teachers in the sharing of their opinions about essays evaluation. Teachers were asked to plan & project an assessment document to allow 4th primary school students to acquire writing skills. Thanks to this research, a first group of teachers has been driven to use the strategies of written essays correction to promote cognitive and meta-cognitive activities in students. The present work pinpoints a practical approach to school innovation by University Researchers helping school teachers
