With the help of the Neutron Monitor Data Base was also possible to define a correction factor which takes into account the fluctuations in the flow of cosmic rays during the course of a solar cycle, found equal to k = 1.083. The comparison between the measurements and data provided by the monitoring network of cosmic rays is possible to obtain a value of the "dose rate" and the neutron fluence rate averaged over a solar cycle.
