Abstract

[automatically translated] The growing demand for culture, along with the improvement of living conditions within the exhibition spaces, encourages people to spend an increasing amount of time in museums where, along with exhibits of artifacts and works of art and historical documents, have often place convivial dinners, music concerts and listening sessions. All these different ways of using the museum spaces require more focus on the indoor environment with the goal of ensuring the comfort of people, in addition to the optimal conditions for the preservation and exhibition of works of art. In essence, at confined spaces for the exhibition of cultural heritage they are required mainly two requirements: the suitable conditions of preservation of works of art and appropriate conditions for their use. Unfortunately, different pieces of art have different indoor requirements that make it more complicated the control and management of these exhibition spaces. Among the indoor microclimate requirements, the lighting theme of the works of art is certainly of great importance both for the purpose of their correct use it to their proper conservation; unfortunately, to further complicate the issue, the requirements for the optimal preservation of the cultural heritage does not necessarily coincide with those of the visual comfort of the people. This consideration suggests that it will take place a special care in assessing the proper lighting system for a museum. Naturally, It should be taken into due account the national and international legal framework that, in this field, is full of suggestions and specific. Starting from the fulfillment of these preconditions will be appropriately investigated the possibility of making use of best available technologies in order to pursue the goals put forward that the visual comfort and conservation today impose. In particular, in this paper we will focus on the possibility of creating the museum spaces for the use of indoor lighting systems which mainly makes use of the variation of the emission spectrum of the light fixtures based on the work of art colors. will be appropriately investigated the possibility of making use of best available technologies in order to pursue the goals put forward that the visual comfort and conservation today impose.
