Abstract

The essay focuses on a valuable acquisition of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini graphic art collections: agroup of works by Ugo Zovetti Senior (Curzola, Dalmatia, 1879 - Milan, 1974). Ugo Zovetti was a great master of decoration and also distinguished himself in other fields, such as mural painting, advertising painting and engraving. An original, multifaceted artist, Zovetti is particularly valued for his works on paper, and especially the outstanding, highly refined decorated papers.
