Abstract

The nutritional value of Leccinum corsicum, a wild ediblemushroom used as a food in many Italian regions andrestricted communities of Sicily, is here evaluated. The resultsshow that L. corsicum is a valuable niche product andan important source of nutritional elements for the humandiet.
