Abstract

[automatically translated] Objective of the study is the formalization of a number of hypotheses on the configuration of the Palazzo Ajutamicristo front of Palermo, by Matteo Carnelivari before the seventeenth-century transformations. This hypothesis is based on the photogrammetric survey of the entire prospectus and on the reading and interpretation of some fragments still visible original buoyancy. The process of formulating and testing hypotheses have led to subsequent refinements to the first reconstruction of the face based on a geometric and dimensional study based on a scientific survey. Among the salient features of the contribution is the inclusion of escaped items in previous studies, the presence of which was suggested by the hypothesis reconstructive.
