The aim of the research is to find a model of acquisition of digital competence and of 4C (communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking) of the students of the Primary Education Degree Course in order to gain real professional development. It has been hypothesized that the use of the flipped classroom model in university teaching can also be a good proposition for future primary school teachers for the gradual acquisition of the 4C and that the eTwinning project in initial teacher education can provide valuable support for promoting such key competences. The valuation and choice of the multimedia products used was undoubtedly the most delicate and precious momentas it was necessary to carefully choose the material to be proposed for future teacher training. The results of the research have enabled us to understand evolutionary steps in the development of digital competence and to identify the devices that are most relevant to the design of an innovative university teaching model.
