Abstract

Recent psychological, pedagogical and didactic research has shown that female and male pupils learn and behave differently at school and that the probability of success in the study increases, for both sexes, when teachers, in their teaching activity, keep present the masculine and feminine peculiarities. Therefore, the need to study and disseminate the best teaching experiences on the pedagogically best way to teach women and men is felt.In this research we wanted to know the opinions of 232 teachers of the last year of secondary school and the first two years of secondary school of all the provinces of Sicily on some conduct that can affect the personal and school life of each pupil of 13-16 years. It is superfluous to say that, as in many categorizations of this kind, in reality we will never find 'pure extremes' and there will always be not a few exceptions.
