Neurophysiological complements of autism diagnosisResearch presented show relationships between behavioral and cognitivedisorders and underlying cerebral functional abnormalities, onthe basis of non invasive electrophysiological investigations (electroencephalography, cortical evoked potentials). Three types of disturbancesare studied: sleep problems, intolerance to change and atypical visualprocessing of human faces. The complementarity of clinical and neurophysiologicalapproaches is crucial at the levels of functional diagnosis, therapeutic and educative interventions.
